Bookworm Bookmarks Free Coloring Pages

HOMEMADE PLAY-DOH

Makes 2 cups of play-doh:

  • 1 cup of salt

  • 1 tbsp cream of tarter

  • 2 cups of boiling water

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 1 package of kool-aid

  • Mix it all together.  Let it cool down.  Now Play!!!!!  Store it in a ziplock bag

BOOKWORM BOOKMARKS

What you need?

  • Craft Foam

  • PomPom

  • Wiggley Eyes

  • Permanent Marker or Paint Pen

  • Glue

  • Scissors

Across the top of the craft foam draw three one inch to one and a half inch brackets. Now draw three more underneath.  Cut out around brackets to make the body of the worm. Glue the PomPom on one end for the head. Glue the wiggley eyes on the PomPom. Write "bookworm" or your child's name on the body of the worm. Now find a nice spot to snuggle up and read a book!

HOMEMADE GOO

Things You'll Need:

         white glue

         borax

         water

         bowl

         spoon

         glass cup or bowl

         optional food coloring

Directions:       In the bowl, mix cup of white glue with 1 cup of water.  Add a couple of drops of food coloring to the goo at this time if you want your goo to be colorful!  In the glass and mix 1/2 tsp Borax with 1/2 cup water.  Now, add the Borax and water mixture to the glue mixture.   Making sure to stir constantly. Now squish, poke and play with the goo!
